HL2 Episode 3 is not coming anytime soon

I had a feeling this would happen, I expected mid or late 09, but 2010 is pretty bad, that's like 26 months :/

That should mean the time between episode 3 and actual half-life 3 is only going to be 2 years.

See, problem with that is that Valve lacks the manpower. Valve has like 150 people that work on HL franchise, TF2, L4D, DoD. Notwithstanding Steam, PR and stuff. I don't know why they just go out and hire more people instead of alienating their supporters by constantly delaying products.

There won't be half life 3. HL3 = Episode 1, 2 and 3.
