Default 177.80 daily crash with quadro FX 570M

Hi guys,

I'm getting repeated crashed (daily 1-2) with my config. The visual symptoms are having a couple of quick black blinks within a second, then X crashes and I'm back to my gdm login. Looking at the logs, I have these in Xorg.0.log.old:

Code:
(WW) NVIDIA(0): WAIT (1, 6, 0x8000, 0x0000f734, 0x00005684)
(WW) NVIDIA(0): WAIT (1, 6, 0x8000, 0x00002dc4, 0x0000ddc4)
(II) NVIDIA(0): Initialized GPU GART.
(WW) NVIDIA(0): WAIT (1, 6, 0x8000, 0x0000bf68, 0x0000bf78)

(WW) NVIDIA(0): WAIT (1, 6, 0x8000, 0x00003c70, 0x0000e450)
(II) NVIDIA(0): Initialized GPU GART.

Backtrace:
0: /usr/bin/Xorg(xf86SigHandler+0x7e) [0x80e3a4e]
1: [0xb7fb1400]

Fatal server error:
Caught signal 11. Server aborting

where [..] can mean even 15-20 of the previous messages. In errors.log, I found only this:
Code:
Oct 15 12:14:32 walrus NVRM: Xid (0001:00): 13, 0001 00000000 0000502d 00000860 00ffffff 00000040

I'm running Arch linux with kernel 2.6.27. My hardware is a hp8510w notebook with a Quadro FX 570M, and I'm running a dual-display setup with a 20" LCD using this config:

Code:
Section "Device"
    Identifier "Card0"
    Driver "nvidia"
    VendorName "nVidia Corporation"
    BoardName "Quadro FX 570M"
    Option "TwinView" "True"
    Option "TwinViewOrientation" "Clone"
EndSection
Any help/suggestions/workaround highly anticipated. (I even traded my previous hp8510p to be able to use a notebook with an nvidia card.. )
