Haha, looks good, we could use the x2s for graphics and the GTX for physics

haha very funny. I prefer the other way around, two GTX280s and HD4870X2 in the middle to get ganged

I wouldn't install these drivers if you're only running a single GPU:

Quote:
The internal serial number of the Hotfix is 8.541-081009a. It seems to be a modified Catalyst 8.10 (8.541-080923a). With a HD 4870 the driver is causing problems in Far Cry 2 running on Windows Vista x64 - aberrations and lags prevent the record of useful results. We experienced the same problems with another model of the graphics card. The Radeon HD 4870 X2 on the other hand was running smooth.
Also, this game doesn't appear to be truely DX 10.1:

You mean "ganged" like my CrossfireX does to your SLI?

Very weak actually, except for Oblivion. So Tri SLI will outperform it.

Not sure what's wrong with that setup, but apparently looks like 3 SLI is not enabled right.
Let me get 3rd soon and i will show you right numbers

A first test by Hardocp with FarCry 2. All single cards perform very well. (Even the 4850 considering the pricerange)

Unfortunately the hotfix they used doesn't seem to work for the 4870X2 which barely scales at all, and I have difficulty believing the testers did it wrong.
