Really mature, call the dude a douchebag because he won't cater to your whims. I guess it's what's expected these days from college kids who do nothing but sit around and play games all day.

I really want him to release ALL character models

I KNOW he has a whole bunch more for Breen, Mossman and all. And maybe a katana for Gordon to use, as an homage to L4D2

If that new Alex model was not such a turn off I would install HL2 again just to try out this mod. Alex was a very likable character so I don't know why they would change her so drastically. She is not even black anymore.

They shouldn't have changed ANY of the character models outside of upping the poly count if they could. The characters' faces are based on real faces for goodness sake. That along with the that facial animation is why the characters are so well done. I haven't tried this mod since version 6 or something. Do they give you the option of using all the original models?

I think almost everyone agree's on that exept the guy that does the mod, He prefers to be a Barbie girl in a Barbie world.

As the guy who has done all this says, very clearly in his readme's and everything else, if you like his work, good.

If you don't, he doesn't care, make your own.

Also, the character pimper allows you to use the original, HQ version of original or his own version so there is nothing to complain about for anybody.

-edit- I bolded the above for emphasis as a lot of people are apparently complaining about the characters and have apparently not installed the new updates.

It's more about him and the mod both coming off as immature and juvenile than it is about actually having to use the models.

Is 10.10 standalone or do I first have to have 10.0 installed?
