Umm.., it does but it takes a LONG time before it starts to Jam up, I have the Golden AK-47 and it took a long time for it to start jamming, but now it does so consistently.

I've just bought a XFX GTX 260 216 XT and so far I'm not sure if it's performing like it should be. I upgraded from a 8800gts 640mb and in some games, the performance isn't that much better. Is the above bencmarks results about right for a GTX 260?

I think your cpu is a bottleneck.

and you play in 1280x1024, very low res for that kind of card, u need 1680 min and higher with a fat cpu to watch games fly.

You haven´t forced vsync off in the control panel?

I got horrible performance in both Far Cry 2 and Crysis when i had it forced.

Agreed. Your CPU is definitely holding you back. The game loves multiple cores and high clock speeds.

You should get a pretty substantial performance boost by lowering a few settings like geometry and shadows.

I lowered a few settings on my system and it nearly doubled my framerate in the areas where I wasn't happy with the performance.

Your next upgrade should be a decent quad core overclocked to 3Ghz or more. That'd give you a very nice boost, especially in Far Cry 2.

Having alot of fun with this game pretty much an all day thing today and the wife has removed me from muashizzlebox.

I like how I spent a ton of money for the best rocket launcher and it sucks... sets fire to everything around you when it launches and is almost too powerful to attack anything near you.
