Hey hey. Now we can't expect everyone to like everything. I liked Crysis a lot, others didn't. I don't like this game much, others will. No game can be perfect, no game can appeal to everyone. Each gamer has their own taste, people who like FC2 will praise it, people that don't will criticize it. Hopefully, among all the unfair and fair shouting and yelling, a game's true flaws will be considered by the developers when making the next incarnation...

Problem here is that most people are juding the game without even playing it, or based on small little possible annoyances EVERY open world game has.

Played for about an hour so far. This game is no Crysis, that's for sure. It's ok so far but just that. Some things I don't care for already. Mouse movement doesn't feel crisp. Weapon sounds are weak, voice acting is average at best. Contrary to what some have said here seeming to generalize gamers, I am not one who trashes a game unless it's really bad. I'm not trashing this game at all but I'm not going to sit here and phrase it either if it doesn't deserve it. "Loved every minute of it" is a stretch by all senses of the word as far as I'm concerned. I don't throw comments like that out willy nilly.

I am still using 177.41 drivers. I get a message at every start saying I have old drivers and to update them. Going into the game anyway and these drivers play the game fine. Dunno what version is "acceptable" to not get that message. Surely it can't be referring to the 180 driver cause it's still Beta. Strange the 177.41 driver would trigger that message when the FarCry 2 profile is in the drivers.

Gonna play some more tomorrow and see if this game grows on me. Some do and sometimes I change my mind by the time I finish one. Sometimes for the better, sometimes for the worse. So far I don't dislike this game but I'm not overwhelmed by it either. I was expecting more. That's the case sometimes when a game gets hyped as much as this one has.

Gamers give opinions according to their tastes and that's it. What one really likes, another doesn't, and another says it's OK. What one rates at 10, another rates a 5. Like movies, music and many other things, that's just the way it is.

Yeah i'm loving this game, so far I like it better than Crysis and Warhead.
I personally think the game looks great, i'm playing it on Hardcore and the AI is pretty decent.
I like the fact that there's no loading pretty much, and when It needs to load its damn near instant.

It feels a little like Grand Theft Auto in the jungle so far.

The feel and look of the game is pretty good so far, reminds me a little bit of days out in the savannah

Just finished the "tutorial" level so haven't checked much outside the first few depots and what not but the game is decent enough.

Well I must say this is a wicked game so far. Some of the characters body language animations are amazing, like watching an actual actor. I can't believe people are trashing this game for it's graphics.... Allow me to demonstrate:

People are just bashing the graphics because it doesn't look quite as good as Crysis... for some, once the bar has been raised, everything below the bar is crap.

The grenade effect is pretty cool. I got a big smile on my face the first time I threw one.

I'm having too much fun looking around to do my objectives. lol
