Commoners.

I don't even think we have patch notes... no patch on 360 either.

Man, I don't want to say this is hard, but some of the mobs just refuse to die or even take a lot of damage and take 1/4 of my health away with crap weapons or melee damage. Level 26, best stuff and armor and I'm dying to a gollum looking guy with no shirt on and a pea shooter.

Just got Point Lookout. Started the game and the message showed up about the boat appearing. I'll check it out later.

As a side note, Windows Live still sucks. Went into Live to buy it and my login wouldn't let me in. I'm at auto sign in and it said my username or password was incorrect (even though everything was right there). The only way I could get in was taking off the auto sign and signing in manually. Now when I start Fallout 3, I have to sign in manually each time even after I typed it in and chose auto sign. Typical Windows Live. Nothing but junk.

Yeah, Windows Live has not let me play multiplayer Dawn of War II for a while now, so glad to hear even players of other games need to share in my agony.

I'd rather not share your agony dude. I'd gladly let you have it all if Windows Live would let me. I guess it wants us to share.

Yeah, it's damn hard... they warned us though, I believe... there was some Bethesda Blog post about Point Lookout being for high level characters.

Thos hillbillies never die.

Ok, I don't feel so bad. It's wierd, they mixed in some of the older creatures from the Wasteland, who are pretty easy now, the Mirelurks, Dogs, those fly things, then they thrown in a guy who runs at you at 100mph and takes 1000 rounds to kill.

I just don't have a strategy for this one yet, nobody uses ranged weapons, they shoot then charge.

On top of it all, I crashed in that Bog while fighting Mirelurks and had to do it over, I was not happy.

Has anyone noticed that they are spawning stuff right on top of you? In the original Wasteland/DLC's, the compass/radar would show blips and you knew what was ahead. Now, I can be walking and bam, 3 red lines on the compass out of nowhere and they're on top of me.

I'm still not too sure about this one. It fees like Resident Evil, not Fallout.

Lol... please understand my insecurity in regards to performing driver updates... I know it's supposed to be routine even for the most mundane PCer, but I've never done one before... and 50/50 of what I read about people doing updates are horror stories, so I've been scared to the bone of messing with it. Hell, my Sound Card needs newer drivers, and I'm still on SP2 (still haven't read enough definitive info to make me believe I need these, even though some of the latest games I've picked up have SP3 as a bloody requirement).

Yeah, I'd appreciate it if you'd check for that movement bug and report back: I suspect that you haven't encountered it otherwise you'd have it in your mind already, lol... it's very annoying.
You've never updated drivers before?

Control Panel -> Add/Remove Programs (Programs and Features on Vista/7) -> Nvidia drivers -> Click Uninstall

Reboot

Install new drivers -> Reboot

Done

And for the record, if you're really worried, just make sure you use WHQL signed drivers. I bet you will get a nice performance boost over your current drivers too. You do realize that they not only fix issues, they optimize the drivers as well.
