Heh heh. I watched a bunch of those vids on youtube and I'm hooked. I'm downloading it from Steam right now. That music is grabbing my soul! Hope I didn't just screw up, heh heh.

Finally, 10 more freakin minutes of downloading . . . and probably then, it will have to verify the download and on and on . . . I'm a little disappointed in Valve this round. I really really hope L4D doesn't go down this road. Lots of people asked for refunds this evening I'm sure.

Played for about 4 hours today, and honestly, I don't think I can play it much more. The game feels too "depressing" and "hopeless". It is like the entire game takes place in a landfill, full of giant bugs, mutants, and dying people. I think the combat works well, and the story is interesting...but it just seems like NOTHING good will ever really happen.

I just...I guess I need at least the "hope" of a happy ending, seems like the best I can hope for when completing a mission in Fallout 3 is to make someone's life, or my own, slightly less ****tier.
What a wuss.

Gameshark review = B+

"Finally, there’s the issue of how successfully Bethesda has adapted a game for the PC that was designed primarily with consoles in mind."

**** you, Bethesda.

**** you, Bethesda.

Only main issue I have for consolitus is the darn inventory and such menus. Same as Oblivion, everything is big and few items listed at one time.
