yes same here it looks much better than on my 5200. Talk about jagges. I seriously doubt it would even play with aa on as even without it things are mighty slow.

Now what may be intereesting is to play it on the nvcard susing the ati dll. By forcing them to use the arb path we could see just what they do perform like.

Yep, but the same holds true for every benchmark run on Nvidia hardware that has nowhere near the quality of AA of ATI cards.

This is exactly why benchmarks should be run with as near of an "apples to apples" IQ as possible and also why you should NEVER trust a review's numbers that doesn't show comparison IQ screenshots at the settings they choose to compare.

I think most benchmarks are reliable, the problem is with dishonest cheating by the card makers. cough *nvidia*cough

Nvidias Cant look better becuase of ATi's FP24. Because Frankly the dawn demo has NERVER RUN even once in FP32 mode... Do the research yourself to find out.

Further, I dont see any eyelashes on the Nvidia one either. Plus the Skin, Hair, eyes, wings etc are more refinded on the R300 one. As pointed out by the MIT students who did it in the first place.

But you fanboys continue to push whatever Truth Suits your personal fancies...

oh, Did you guys ever consider that its the Nvidia card that is improperly rendering the Demo? Especially considering that its only ever been viewed on Nvidia hardware????

Please point out the Specific areas where they are different?? As i pointed out above, the Eyelash thing holds no water.

Now Hellbinder, don't be such a fool. The eyelash thing is correct...(although the Radeon does render them in non-ultra mode)

But once again, seem to forget that this is being rendered through a wrapper on ATi cards. I don't expect it to be perfect.

Um, if it isn't too much I'd like to point out that all the pics I've seen from card owners have never matched the quality showed on the Nvidia site =/. Just thought you should know that. Then again all the pics I see people post are the naked ones .
