As a side-scroller how does LBP compare to say....Super Mario Brothers?

Think of the sack person as a homeless Mario dressed in rags.

Just got around to playing LBP, awesome game, very fun and creative.

My favorite feature is the ability to customize your sackboy's costume LOL I love my Nariko and Kratos costumes. Hopefully they'll keep bringing more to download from Playstation Store

Game is crazy so far! Been having fun and made a lot of new friends online. Having fun trying to collect as much as I can with other people.

The platforming isn't as tight as a super mario games, it's more floaty. It takes some getting use to but I think because of the floatiness the game is more amusing to play.

This game sorely needs a demo. Theme is a huge turnoff for me so trying the gameplay is the only way I'll get interested.

I'm going to pick this up some time this week even though it appears to have a childish theme. With all the positive reviews and people ranting and raving over it, it must be darn good. Seems interesting nonetheless.

They needed way more levels or something for this game. Theres no real reason to continue playing it.

Thus far, my best purchase for the PS3 was PixelJunk Monsters. Lord knows how many hours me and my baby momma have on it.

More levels? The game is designed around creating your own levels you fool!

Can't find out much about the co-op mode. Most of the reviews I've read just skip over it quickly. From what I've read it has 4 player co-op? Is that online only or can 4 people play on 1 console?
