well i've played this game a few times now and enjoying some online play too. i went to load it up last night and kept getting freezing. some levels would load others not. i was getting blotchy black smoke from the fire in game.

i googled a bit and found a few people are having this problem but doesn't look like a lot of people are. i'm stumped. all my other games work.....played and hour of FSX today and a bit of Far Cry2 and no issues.

i reinstalled the game. started a new profile even and now can't get past second level....lol

sigh. i'm patched to the latest also but how does everything work fine all week then go kaboom. i didn't make any changes to my pc all week.

Im lvl 55 on cod 4 and loved that game, im now lvl 36 in cod 5 having lost my multiplayer save and having to start again .. started backing up after every rank up now, anyway i must say im loving playing this alot more than i did/do cod 4 .... at first i though i was gonna struggle adapting to the iron sites but some weapons do have a dot, with my trysty DP-28 MG i easily get a bigger score & more kills a map/round than i do/did in cod 4.

lovin' the game so far.

(the single player is alot better than cod 4 imo also)

heh, the DP-28 is my fav. so far and i'm rank 43 right now. its a beast in those maps with lots of buildings and concrete cover because the bullet penetration perk I have. rips right through cover and even takes down those noobs with juggernaut in a few shots.

I played a friend's 360 version for about a day. I must admit, despite hating the idea of yet another WWII game, it was a lot of fun. Especially the Pacific theater battles. I love sticking guys with the bayonet.

Does the PC version have 5 player coop? Is it easy to match up with players?

I can't decide if I should do prestige... it seems so lame to lose all the perks and start over.

I'll rock level 65 for quite a while and then prestige up when I'm bored. Having another class slot sounds good, but not losing all perks and weapons.
