Ha! I was thinking the exact same thing last night.

after playing multiplayer for 1 day, my reaction is there are many very good maps, and several VERY bad ones. Gameplay is IDENTICAL to cod4. Weapons feel a little different, other then that nothing really new. I think its easier to make smaller good maps then bigger maps, which is why the maps in cod4 are so awesome.
i will probably play this time to time, but not as much as i did with cod4.

I wasn't a fan of some of the maps at first, but they grow on you. I don't really like the airfield map, but other than that one they're all good.

The thing about this one is that you might need to choose something other than a SMG to win... unlike COD4 where SMG's can pwn any map.

Yes, it's just like COD4 with WWII weapons. But I don't really play COD4 multiplayer and I'm not sure why it's so popular.

To me it seems like a step backwards from the Battlefield series. There are no vehicles, no squads or commanders, no teamwork. And 90% of the time you never see the guy who shot you until the after death replay.

What do you guys like about COD4/WAW multiplayer gameplay?

There are tanks in WaW. There's a wide range of weapons, and a wide range of perks.
