Finally finished the SP campaign and I am really disappointed. Seriously, the horrible design decisions that made CoD4 annoying are still there. Enemies often have infinite spawning till you do or reach something certain, there's absolutely no freeness to any of your actions. The game freely says, "Its my way, or the highway". One thing I absolutely despised was the horrific sound effects, all the guns sound like pie launchers made out of plastic, can't Activision spend some money and actually get a professional studio to do the recordings? =\

Graphics have the horrid post-processing effect commonly found in UE3 engine games, everything looks so jaded and washed-up, even if its decently detailed.

All in all, disappointed with the SP. Hopefully the MP Hardcore action would be nice enough to glue me in, otherwise this is a totally forgettable title.

After playing Brothers In Arms: Hell's Highway, the SP mode of COD:WaW seems way too linear and mindless. The battles are often confusing and i don't get the same satisfaction of killing my enemies as i did in BiA. There isn't any covering system, the leaning is a joke to say the least and what is wrong with the stand button? The only way to stand up is by pressing "Shift + W" (nothing is happening by simply pressing Shift). The graphics and generally the game seems outdated and so far i'm quite disappointed with the SP mode.
