just finished this game tonight. i liked it. better than i thought. i've always been a fan of the cod's. i don't mind WW2 games. the "timed grenades" from the enemy was a bit annoying which i thought they could of at least changed from cod2 and cod4.

like you can pretty much put a stopwatch on everytime the enemy throws a grenade at you no matter where you go or what you do...........errr at least it seemed that way to me.

The first two stages were really disappointing. The next missions though are great with amazing visuals and frantic action. I'm glad i didn't stop playing after the first missions

I kinda like the single player, the flamethrower makes it fun. The bonzai rush reminds me of pacific assault, some pretty good animation and not bad music. I thought the sniper mission was much better than the cod 4 sniper mission.

I loved cod4, thought it was the best of the cod4 series. I was skeptical and almost didn't purchase WaW.

I'm very glad I did. I'm really enjoying it so far, as much as I did cod4. I wouldn't say it surpasses cod4 yet (I haven't finished it yet), but so far I'm digging it.

Imo the weapon sounds are great, as are the sounds in general. Imo CoD4 created a strong theatrical presence, almost as if you were walking through a movie. So far WaW is accomplishing that for me. I like WW2 games, but I really wasn't looking forward to playing another one right now. I'm presently suprised and I'm glad I bought it. And I'm glad they didn't water down the gore, or remove the swastika's.

Man the sp sniping level is hard. It's gonna make me bang my head on my desk. I don't have the patience for this right now. I almost feel like using a sp cheat code just to get past the level.

I can't put my finger on why but for some reason I like this game's multi more than CoD4. Maybe its because I like the WWII time period more, but that doesn't really explain why this game feels more fun to me. Anyway my handle is [NDAK]Sidric if anyone is up for a few games. feel free to add sidric to xfire if you have it as well.

The singgle player imo was alot better than COD4's single player cant explain what makes it better i just enjoyed it alittle more ... personally i prefere the multiplayer over COD 4 also, the first few ranks have poor weapons but i would say you need ot get to lvl 13+ before you unlock any decent weapons, lvl 29 at the moment and really enjoying it .... the DP-28 is a beast of a weapon!
