Default The system has reached the maximum size allowed for the system part of the registry!!

The system has reached the maximum size allowed for the system part of the registry. Additional storage requests will be ignored.

XP

I'm a little concerned...

Ive removed the /3GB / switch ,I think this reduces the size of the paged pool or something, I wont pretend to understand.

weird, considering

Quote:
In Microsoft Windows Server 2003 and in Microsoft Windows XP, the Registry Size Limit (RSL) functionality has been removed. Therefore, there are no longer any limits on the total amount of space that may be consumed by registry data (hives) in paged pool memory, and in disk space.

Have the same problem on my machine when using the /3gb switch. Apparently when using the /3gb switch the system uses space usually reserved for the registry causing this error. I eventually got around the problem by installing XP 64 which doesn't require the /3gb switch.
