Well, I havn't played wow for a while due to a dead mother board (I plan to remedy that this week or next). I talked to someone from my guild yesterday, and apparently they are playing AION. They say it is really fun, so I suppose I'll be in game soon...I HATE playing catch up though...

Can anyone test the difference between dual and quad core in a place like Reshanta in the prime time? I'm thinking of upgrading for mass PvP's, but can't find if it's worth it. Forums like Aion Source are useless in this, it's mostly filled with miss information and no benchmarks at all.

When I get to that place I can do that for you, on the rigs in my signature.
What level should you be around?

<< Just hit 20 a few hrs ago, so I haven't seen alot yet.

You can also try Pandemonium/Sanctum, Reshanta is for 25+. Any place with lots of ppl around is good, more crowded it is the better.

I can already tell, that this game loves OC, I tried downclocking my CPU for some tests and from 2GHz to 3.5GHz you can double your avg. fps in the cities.

Im playing the market now with crafting. Im making loads of kinah every day.
And I can check out my sales at work on their website

I never had this much fun in an mmo. And I have never liked crafting in a mmo.

Dont forget that installing any MMO on a SSD is bound to increase performance heaps, as data will be constantly loaded, cached and unloaded as players come and go, and as you travel around new areas get streamed into memory

I have yet to move my aion to my ssd's, so i'm wondering how much of a performance increase i'll see. However, its not like it plays bad I rarely hit lower than 80fps.
Crafting is bad ass, I maxed out weaponsmithing at 199 (only lvl 23) and armorsmithing is next. But I made a fairly quick 2 mil kinah very lucky proc's off of leveling weaponsmithing (in the span of 3 days).

If you never hit below 80fps and dont get any jerkyness/stuttering, then you may only notice a difference in the initial game launch, its mainly if you notice stuttering(caused by loading files on the fly), which I found happend in most MMOs

Actually crafting doesn't max out until 399, you have to buy into the next tier by talking (and paying) to the crafting workorder person.

Yeah I know this. Maxed out my tier is what I should have said.
I am level 25 entering 26, but haven't felt the urge to login and play.
