Bug still there with driver version 180.29

I've found that changing the GPU scaling method momentarily in nvidia-settings for the primary screen (GPU 0 -> DFP 0 -> Flat Panel Scaling -> GPU Scaling Method seems to solve the issue.

I noticed another issue however. With dual screens running as separate X sessions, when the mouse cursor moves from one screen to the other it leaves an image of itself on the edge of the screen it is leaving. resulting on both screens showing a mouse cursor - only one of which moves.
When the cursor returns to the original screen the cursor image disappears and the cursor tracks movements as expected.

Any news from Nvidia guys.....
I think that everybogy gave all the requested informations

So, what happens with this bug?

I guess no ones figured it out yet. Has anyone else had a white screen / weird effect with LCD screens. Occasionally I find that the screen will suddenly fade to white, in a weird blotchy way like the liquid in the LCD isn't being controlled anymore, it's difficult to explain.
