I hate games that limit your options anyway... GRAW did that... just let me lower my FPS to hell and back, why does Rockstar care?

That and the lack of an AA option are the only graphics/performance problems I have with the game.

Yep no AA looks like we are back in 1980 lol.

Well so far my experience has been sh*t to say the least. For a start it crashed on start up and to get around it I had to be log off the Rockstart Social network thing or the game simply would not start!!
Then I played the game for around 10mins and it crashed on me, i am ruling out my setup as other games such as Fallout 3, BF2, Left 4 Dead, Crysis, Bioshock etc etc run without crashes.
And last but not least I don't think the game runs that well. It seems to need a super computer to be able to play it at max detail.

I hope a patch is rolled out soon because it seems that it was rushed out the door a little too quickly.

I don't think the Social Club thing is a patch-needed error... seems their servers are being bombarded and they were not prepared, or something. Who knows... still, connecting to the service should be fixed by general maintenance, not a patch, hopefully.

Yep, they have shot themselves in the foot. I hope there is some performance improvements soon and patches to fix the crashes. The game feels so flakey at the moment.
I feel let down

signed up just to post here

Bought the Australian copy yesterday, after waiting god knows how long for it to port

Have an 8800GT, 4gb RAM and a Dual core 3ghz - which isn't flash, but if it can run Crysis on medium spec well... i figured this would be alright

I can't even run the game on 800 x 600 with all the minimum settings. Game crashes randomly no matter what combination of settings and drivers i try

Even opened up my case & blasted out the dust

Has anyone else had crashes consistently & not even been able to play? I come down the stairs of the cousins house & it crashes either in the stair well, or after you see the hotdog vendor & can start walking around
