You can use ~3.4 max. So not worth it, wait until you upgrade to 64bit OS. If you want to do it now get Vista, otherwise wait for Windows 7.

Gawd, this game REALLY badly needs a texture pack. Haven't seen an impressive screen yet. And on the plus side it wouldn't even slow the game down since its so CPU limited.

I like mouse+ keyboard steering much more. Cars are rally easy to drive and shooting is not retared like on pad.

BTW

I oveclocked my E6300 from 1.86GHz to 2.45GHz and I gained 10FPS in GTA IV w00t!

Do they fu** know in Rockstar what the heck is Graphic card? I overclocked my 8800GT core clock from 600 to 700mhz and memory clock from 1800 to 2000 and I had 1FPS more! Pathetic.R*.com

Definitely the hardest mission i've had all game, but the payoff is pretty big so took me about 5 tries

First just take out a few cops out the front with sniper/m4. Then run around the alley way with the two irish guys. Get behind the cover to the right and use a grenade to blow up the car and take down a few cops. Run around the corner to the left. Save your grenades the cops are mostly non armored.

Cross the street to the next closed in street, use a few grenades, there are some armored guys. From there just go through the streets. New cutscene. In the subway it's fairly easy, just stay behind cover watch the guys come up the stairs who are armored. On the tracks you can just stand back and let loose if you have decent armor by then.

After that it's up to street level, immediately go to your right and there should be a parked 4WD, only time you can get in with the irish guys. Drive to your dest - only 3 stars so should be pretty easy.

haha on the PC did the bank job in one shot. On the 360 (I blow at aiming with a controller) I did it about 5 times though. So happy for mouse and keys with this game

The screen of PC is native 1080p downsize to 720p

360 and PS3 versions have Blur (P key) on by default by the looks of things.
