Default debian linux + 1.0-4363 + quake3

Hi guys..

Ive had quake3 running on my linux for a long time without problems.. a couple of days ago I updated the Nvidia driver from 3123 to 4364 and quake3 started locking up my system.. I can play it for about 5 seconds and then everytime it locks up..

Now I tried updating my debian packages to see if that helped but when I did that my mouse dont work inside quake3..

Everything else works.. tvout, UnrealTournament.. all the apps Ive tried work fine.. except QUAKE3..

My computer:

model name : AMD Athlon(TM) XP 1800+

01:00.0 VGA compatible controller: nVidia Corporation NV25 [GeForce4 Ti 4200] (rev a3)

512Mb ram

USB Keyboard and USB Logitech Dual Optical mouse.

Any kind of help or suggestions are greatly appreciated!
