Default 180.16 bugreport involving coolbits "1" + overclocking

this is reproduceable for me like that:

i turn off compiz, go into nvidia-settings, overclocking, fill in the frequencies i want (same as i used in windows stable for years and also in the other linux drivers) , push apply -> everything works.

i turn on compiz again and immediatly my performance drops to something like 1fps, i can actually see every frame being repainted. i turn compiz off and now also the 2d performance is affected, if i move a window off the desktop and again back the part of the window that was just outside the view is actually blurred for a second.

I can confirm this, after changing a frequency in coolbits, the 3D performance is extremely low (6-7 fps in glxgears, normally >4000fps).
Driver version: 180.16
Video card: 7600GS AGP

The same with 180.11.

<=180.06 put the frequencies to some minimal values like 83 MHz, and there was graphical corruption in 2D.

Without applying the frequencies everything is normal.

Has not been fixed as of driver version 180.22. This is probably a low priority bug so we'll just have live with the default clocks for the time being.
