That doesn't look bad at all...another game possibly added to the list.

Wow, the production values on that trailer were through the roof for a title like this.

If that was all in game footage, I'm extremely impressed.

Can't wait for this one!

Metro 2033 Developer Interview:

http://worthplaying.com/article/2010...erviews/71469/

Quote:
WP: Metro 2033 will be available on the Xbox 360 and PC. Are we looking at DX10 or DX11 support for the PC version? Are there any other nifty graphical features?

DL: Yeah, that's correct. We're going to be on the 360 and PC. The PC version does utilize DX10 and PhysX. We're also looking at DX11 and working with nVidia on that.

WP: What about gameplay? Whenever something comes out on the PC and console, a lot of PC gamers complain that he game has been "console-fied." What are we looking at, control-wise, for the PC version versus console?

DL: I want to make it very clear that our PC SKU is our lead SKU. This is not a port. We're putting everything into the PC. The controls on the PC are going to be designed for PC gamers, exactly what they're used to.

I like that - I would love to have a demo released, I'm sure everyone would.

It's so great to hear that from a developer. Russian developers FTW!

The game does look alot like stalker.

Being that its from ex Stalker devs I'm not surprised PC is the lead platform.

Also they should be talking with ATI for dx11 :P

True that, it's a TWIMTBP game though so no surprises really. Just a shame the ways these things work. If Fermi isn't available when this game launches, there's no way nVidia will want them doing DX11 so they'll play it down to the devs and it will be left out.

Huh?

EDIT: Not so "huh" now. I googled TWIMTBP.

when i went to ukraine, pipryat and chernobyl looked a lot like in game in stalker as do the outskirts and other areas, only big cities seem to be very modern like Kiev was to my surprise so i guess living there youll base the look of your game on the areas around you no matter what game your making
