Hi there,
Hope someone can help. I have a Netgear WPN824v2 router which works fine with wired PCs and laptops but not with wireless. I have 2 laptops running vista with built-in wireless cards that don't even see the Netgear Router. They do, however see 3 other wireless netowrks (neighbours I pressume). All the correct lights are on on the router (but is anyone home????). I've also tried connecting the laptop manually in case the SSID is hidden (even though it is set to broadcast) but no luck. Any pointers? I used to connect wireless to the router using an older laptop running XP and with a WPN111 USB wireless adaptor. I'm getting close to experimenting with how far a Netgear Router can fly! Thanks in advance |

Are you sure the router is broadcasting? Trying turning wireless on with no security and use basic A+b.
If there is nothing, perhaps the router is faulty. Also check for interference. Like cordless phones that use the same 2.4Ghz frequency. |

I had the EXACT same problem. I just ended up getting a new router after going through days of troubleshooting. I went with Linksys this time. FTW. No problems whatsoever.
