Xorg : ABI version 5

Hi,

I recently updated my Xorg server to a newer version, and since then the nvidia driver (not the kernel mod) has been failing to load, both the stable and the 180.17 beta.

The X logs complain about ABI v5 not being supported by the driver, and the possibility to pass a -ignoreABI flag (to startx, maybe).

The "nv" driver seems to work OK for 2D, I'll use that for the moment.

So dear NVIDIA, please make our problems disappear.

You are using a not stable xorg therefore you'll have to wait for a stable abi atleast before nvidia releases a driver.
