I'm running Mandriva 2009.0 with Kernel 2.6.27.7 and a Nvidia 9800GT Graphic Card. The new "stable" Driver works fine except when I play HD-Material. For example, when I play a 1080p-Trailer from the Apple-Website with mplayer, sometimes the picture begins randomly to flicker, furthermore when fast motions are in the picture some linear shift occurs. Objects, people etc. becomes distorted. Same issues with Blu-Ray Playback. Switched back to 180.18-Driver everything runs fine. Something in the Beta-Driver seems to work better with my Card.
