widescreen resolution problem
I have a GeForce FX 5200 and a monitor which needs resolution 1920x1080
on Debian Lenny with gdm.
gnome-display-properties proposes me 1600x1200 with 50Hz as the highest resolution possible. That's not enough and it's not the right proportion either.
I think I have a correct installed and running driver.
Xorg does not seem to know the screens capabilities.
What could be the problem here? I hope someone has a hint for me.
ps: my attaches bug-report file was not made under startx -- -logverbose 6 but in the x allready running

Re: widescreen resolution problem
Do you use DVI? Most 5200 cards have a limit on the DVI pixel clock that is too low for a 1920x1080 display at 60 Hz.
You can choose to ignore this limit or to select a lower vertical rate.
