I really enjoyed it, was so annoyed when I moved to Vista only to find that it didn't work. I know I could reinstall XP, but I'm not doing it just for 1 game.

I checked their official site for fun, and they haven't removed a graphic in the lower corner still telling "Coming Fall 2008".

I still think this game is going to be all action and no substance...

I checked out the "story" trailer and the developer makes acouple comments on the story and we see like two scenes of story and then nothing but combat... Even the original GTAs had more "story" then this game...

Yeah, it's a hack & slash sandbox game. If gameplay is great then story isn't that important to be honest. At least it has a backstory. Only thing those games need is variety, dunno if this game will deliver on that.

Not for me, I hate sandbox games that offer no story... then it just becomes a useless game with no point or direction.

Well it does have a backstory but it looks like it's more about fun with destruction and mayhem. And a game isn't useless if it has fun game elements, even if the story is weak. But I can agree it is might be more important in sandbox games especially if the setting doesn't allow for big variations of the hack & slash. I guess we will see how it comes along.

Most computer games have rather weak writing. Many hail Blizzard for their strong franchises, personally I think their story writing is very banal. But I enjoy their games anyway, as they so far have great gameplay.

Hate this kind of games to, I want immersive story fueld games with both stealth / action moments. like a good film and not some crappy all out action. have never really liked such games, prolly thats why I never liked Crysis/ Warhead even they looks out of this world. heck I take a game like Penumbra anyday over such games!

Okey Crysis and Warhead is atleast not on the buttom of such games as it have somewhat a story behind but to me it feels just like to much rush and shoot!!

Problem with heavy story based games is that they often are over when they are over. At least with fps games. I never play a game again if there is nothing else than story. A perfect example is a game like Bioshock. Play trough and have fun (the short time it is) then shelved.

So what? If the story is over then the game should be over... just like in a movie. I don't play games just to play them. I prefer a strong story that gives me the satisfaction of a complete experiance. I thought Bioshock was amazing and well worth the money.
