mind you, the gtx 200 series is supported only in 3 way or quad sli. also and it's not yet supported as of the 258.69 betas. the only thing that is confusing is that gpu connector req. are 3d projectors but below they tell you what you can really use for supported display modes and resolutions, duh? also, 3d vision discover for those that don't know are those cheap ass blue and red glasses you may have got with your video card instead of the nvidia 3d vision kit.

The single GPU GTX 200 cards (260, 275, 280, 285) are only supported in 2-way SLI for Surround right now. Only the GTX 295 is supported in Quad SLI.

All the GTX 200 series cards are supported right now in the latest betas for Surround.

The 3D projector requirement is only for a single GTX 295 with 2 DVI and 1 HDMI connector. You can hook up 3 displays to this single GTX 295 and get Surround. But to get 3D Surround, you need to use 3D projectors because of the way the 3D projectors receive and display a 3D image vs. the 3D LCD screens. 3D LCD screens require 120Hz signals, which only the two DVI ports on that GTX 295 can provide. However, 3D projectors use a different method, which can be done over the HDMI port on the card as well.

1st off, to play games at a decent spanning 3d surround rez, you are more than likely need 3 way sli just for the horse power to do so. I am playing just cause 2 with a 2 way sli gtx 480 setup. 3d surround btw in this game forces you to downscale to 2 x AA for it to work. Also, the rez I am using to make the game playable with good fps is 3xxx x 1024 whereas maxing it out at 57xx x 1080 is totally unplayable. I think that's why nvidia put the note in above the first chart. You can use 2 way sli, but 3 way for the gtx 200 series is more than likely is what you will need. Sorry, I didn't know that the gtx 200 series had support with the 258.69 betas. The site is giving out the wrong info then. btw, I owned two evga gtx 295 ftw's and there is no hdmi connector or 3rd connector on that card unless other brands adopted it. So, to get 3d surround on the gtx 295 at least with the evga ones, you would have to go with quad sli and connect 3 projectors/3d monitors to them.
