Default DDC monitor and active stereo on Quadro card ?

With the Linux and FreeBSD drivers on my Quadro FX500, I have a problem displaying stereo on shutter glasses. It looks as if the DDC signal from the monitor interferes with the signal to the shutter glasses. Probably an adapter cable without connections on pins 9 and 12 will resolve the problem.

The strange thing - and that is the reason why I post this - is that the Windows driver is working almost properly on the same hardware configuration. The most probable idea about this seems, that the Windows driver may shut down the +5V output line on pin 9, and the monitor therefore ceases to send DDC signals. If this is true, I would like to see the Linux and FreeBSD drivers to do the same.
