The real questions is how long do you plan on playing those games? I don't see a lot of replayability with those types of shooters. Lots of money to spend for 2 games that you will play a few months and then drop.

True. I'll be playing AoC much longer and it keeps my min frames there @ 46 with all enabled 16xCSAA|16xAF 1920x. I do get brief dips into the 30s and a single GTX 260 couldn't handle the res and quality settings I wanted to use @ 1920x. FC2 and Crysis aren't the last demanding games we will see when they are maxed out.

I already had a GTX 260 for a while. Going Tri-SLi cost me 440usd for 2 GTX Core 216 cards. Personally, I don't consider 440usd for two of those cards "a lot of money" and to each their own on that. As I said before, I already planned on getting an I7 920 and X58 regardless of graphics so that would have been done Tri-SLi or no.

I remember when 8800GT cards were around 250usd. I don't consider GTX 260 Core 216 cards with lifetime warranties a rip off at 220usd a pop. If the cards had been more expensive I probably would have skipped it.

Agreed and transparency supersampling AA makes any game much more demanding.
