Default VDPAU and supported cards

Hi

I have a Dell M1730 which has dual 8700M GT. I noticed that they are not included in the list of supported GPUs included here, though 8400M, 8600M and 8800Ms are.

I was wondering if it was possible that the 8700M would be supported in the future, or whether it didn't have the necessary hardware to enable this?

TIA

FYI, It's quite possible that the GPU supoprt list on this forum either missed GPUs that were released when the post was made, or that new GPUs were released since the post was made.

Either way, the best source of information on supported GPUs may now be found in the README accompanying the driver release (as of 180.22).
