If you didn't know, Mirror's Edge is the first part of trilogy. Hopefully the sequel is in the making. I like the story so far, seems pretty interesting.

I love the story... the meanings and commentary on where we are going socially really resonates with me. I even liked the ending, I just thought it kind of came out of nowhere and didn't resolve quite enough.

Assassin's Creed is another game with a planned sequel, but it at least ended the story in a fashion (i.e. ended that time period). Same with Mass Effect.

If it's going to be a series of games, you shouldn't expect full closure. Did you watch and listen to the ending credits? There's a bit in there that leaves the door ajar for the sequel to squeeze in.

On the soundtrack thing, according to Wiki, the game's score composer wants to release a separate CD. No word on a release date, and the site referenced by Wiki seems a bit off the beaten path. Hopefully something will at least be offered for purchase digitally.

It's a lot harder to see where things are without the runner vision as at times you might be looking at white with a few faint black lines. I think that runner vision is a core part of the game, especially for the first time through.

It also does not look silly, it look cool.

I just picked up a 9600GT for physx. Was taking a hit on the GTX 260 in some spots. Really excited to continue playing with physx enabled and no performance hits.

Try turning it off... that's what convinced me. It makes the game take longer because you have to figure out where to go, rather than have it hand you the answer. Makes it a little more Tomb Raider, in my opinion.

I just say it looks silly because I like more realistic enviornments... I like my metal to look like metal, my wood to look like wood, and the constant huge red splotches annoyed me. There's still a lot of red in the game without it on, and still a strong emphasis on bold color.

I left it on, there is no way Mirrors Edge will look real with all that bright white surfaces.

LOL
