My ISP has it's own Steam sever, so Steam usually maxes my 24mbps connection. ::

It's available at Game. That's where i got mine. ::

24 mbytes?

Unlikely, but if in mbits, do you gets ~4mb/s?

I'll double check next time I download a game, but it's fast enough my net slows down for everything else. Remember this is a dedicated server just for iiNet customers, none of that sharing crap you guys have over there.

You're complaining about 790?
I wasn't complaining. I was just commenting on the other guy saying he got 1mbps. The only place so far I've seen where I sustained over 1mbps was downloading drivers from Nvidia but drivers are pretty small compared to downloading a game.

It would be nice though if I could get big downloads averaging what the speakeasy speed test shows me. In that test I get around 2210 kb/s. I would love to be able to download a whole game at that speed.

I think my last speedtest.net test had me at about 1.7mb/s... if only.

Yep, same here. Comcast has upped the speeds but it really doesn't mean much cause just about all the website servers would need to be upgraded to be able to really have the sustained download speeds realized.

iiNet is my ISP (Internet Service Provider). They have an agreement to host a Steam server. Valve push through the content and I just force Steam to conect to that server and that server alone. It also means that anything i download from that server is NOT counted towards my monthly cap.
Same applies for Xbox Live content. :: iiNet have some great partners, Valve, Microsoft.

Anyways. I played the game, looks ace, runs very smooth, crashed (froze) just after the training. :: Going to get 1.01 patch now. Seems that fixes Physx freezes.
