Default nVidia repositories?

Are there any? Is there a place I can put on my source.list to download stable drivers?

Well if we assume you're running Ubuntu Intrepid (since you gave no details).

The 180.11 drivers are in the Intrepid Updates repo.

But without knowing the distro most of us will be pretty limited to a guess.

My bad. Yea...I'm running Kubuntu 8.10. Are 180.11 beta? I tried to install them yesterday, and the nvidia flash screen said that it was beta.

My laptop is a XPS M1730. Specs:
Processor 2.8GHz Intel Core 2 Extreme X7900
Memory 4GB of 667MHz
Hard drive 400GB (2x200) at 7,200rpm
Chipset Intel 965
Graphics Dual 256MB Nvidia GeForce 8700M GT in a scalable link interface

Honestly if you're running KDE4 I wouldn't worry about what's beta or not.
the 180.xx series is much better at handling KDE4 than previous drivers as long as you don't try and overclock.

But if you're looking for the latest "stable" 180.22, it's not in the repos yet and may not be for awhile.
