Time to upgrade, need your opinions...

I'm already set on the hardware...its just...in what order should I get these upgrades?

Currently I'm using:

Intel QX9250 (ES)
EVGA 750i FTW
8800 GTX
G. Skill 4 gigs DDR2 (1000 5/5/5/15)
74 gig Raptor
250 Gig Western Digital for Storage....

Planning on upgrading to:

EVGA X58
Intel i7 940
Mushkin PC1600 7-8-7-20 Model: 998679 6 gig DDR3 Kit
2 EVGA GTX 285 (vanilla versions) for 2-Way SLI
300 gig Velociraptor HD
1 TB Wester Digital Caviar Black HD

roughly 2,000 dollars + here...

I'm thinking I could go with the HD upgrades first...and probably 1 285 upgrade, then when I'm ready I can do the whole X58 transition and get my 2nd 285 for SLI..maybe keep my 8800 GTX for the PhysX part of it all.

Anyways...what do you think? I'd love to buy everything in one shot, but can't be doing that quite yet...so I plan to upgrade as I move along here.

Again, I've already decided on the HW.

There is no reason to shell out 200$ more for an i7 940(just get the 920), and there's also no need for expensive 1600Mhz ddr3(1333Mhz cl 8 overclocks to 1600 easy) and you could also just add a second raptor 74 GB and run them in RAID 0(should be faster than one velociraptor).

I'd also get a GTX 295 instead of two GTX 285 and sell the 8800Gtx and get a 9600gt for physX instead(lower wattage).

Just a few money-saving options that shouldn't affect the performance of your new system much at all.
