Default fragment shader program fails to compile using "nvemulation of geometry shaders"

after setting the option
Option "RegistryDwords" "8F773984=7; NvEmulate=50"
in the xorg.conf, my program failes to compile the other shader programs. i'm not using the geometryshaders so far but i want to try them out on my older graphiccard.

the error message is attached.

is there a way to still use the fragment shaders together with emulation of geometry shaders or am i doing smth. wrong?
