I have a GTX260-216 and was thinking because of the price drop adding a second card finally for SLI (and thus play at my LCDs native res). But can I add the GTX280? The price difference isn't that much.
If possible is there any benefit to using a GTX280 along side my GTX260-216? Otherwise I can just get a 260-216. Thanks for any info.

No you would not be able to use a GTX280 with a GTX260 in SLI.You would have to just get another 260 to use them in SLI.

One note. You can use a Core 216 260 with a 192SP 260. My third card in Tri-SLi is an old 192SP 260 and my two top cards are Core 216.
