Maybe I haven't been keeping up on this game properly, but I was expecting this to be an FPS. I tried it for a minute today and it's ok so far, but not at all what I was looking for/expecting.

Yeah its not too bad

With more maps, and more players should be rockin.

The framework is pretty sold, now all they need is the content which will come eventually.

Plus i'm a junkie for unlocking stuff

Yeah, I like the experience and unlocking portion of the game.

A more realistic game with the same system would be pretty awesome.

The two things that irritate me the most about this game are the sound effects and the 3rd person camera.

It's amazing to me that I got my beta code 4 days ago and have still not bothered to use it.

Well, I've been waiting months for a beta key and would love to use it if you don't want it.

I thought about it... but then got greedy!

I played it... it's ok... I enjoyed myself. If I was a hardcore online gamer I don't think I would give it the time of day though, but as a barely-ever-online gamer, it was fun.

Had some horrible lag though. And everyone else is already better than me.

I'm really enjoying this atm which has surprised me. I am not one for cartoon style graphics ala TF2 but the core gameplay of bf heroes is just like bf2 albeit a little less serious. Very addictive, very funny, nice character customisations and its free.

Yeah, I'm actually finding this pretty enjoyable.

I doubt it'll last long for me personally (not enough flexibility with the upgrades), but as a free casual game I think it'll be pretty popular. I plan on recommending it to my friends once it goes online.

It has a bit of an MMO feel, due to the progression and stats, but its also light enough to just jump in and have a good time.

EDIT: Also, it seems very stable. I haven't noticed any real problems with it.

Well I ended up getting a beta key about 5 days ago or so and I gotta say. I love it! At first I wasn't real sure but once you get used to the different classes and how to use them it's extremely deep as far as gameplay goes. Not to mention that for a battlefield game, it's practically glitch free which is a huge plus. And the game runs is stuck at 100fps nonstop which is nice.

There's a ton of powerups that you can gradually earn that really change the gameplay up. My personal favorite class it the commando and using the stealth feature.

My only real complaint at this moment is not being able to switch classes while in game. Once you join a game and have your class picked, u can't switch which is pretty stupid IMO.

I was in the last two beta tests including this one and the game is OK, but it has some horrible things like the menu and the start of the game. It just doesn't work nice. Most matched lag and the game is ruined by 5 years old doing whatever they like.
No, I'd rather play TF2.
