The last IE8 RC1 build 8.0.6001.18343 installed previous was crashed every min on a site I visited but now new build 8.0.6001.18372 finally fixed the crashes so it now 100% stable.

I visited other sites so no more crashes.

I installed it earlier, it's definitely better than the last public beta version.

It crashes the Vista sidebar every time the OS starts, but other than that, everything works just fine. I've seen this issue reported on MS newsgroups, so I'll wait for a solution. I can live without the sidebar .

On a positive note, I'm glad they finally put in proper on-page search functionality (with highlighting, etc.). I use this feature a lot when browsing reference materials for translation, and this used to be an area where FF had the upper hand.

Edit: BTW, I love the tab color-coding feature, makes managing multiple tabs with related pages much more efficient.

Yes, every single time... I'm on 64-bit Vista, BTW. I'll live with that for now, I like the new IE too much to go back to version 7 anyway .

Interesting. While I'm not getting that particular crash, I'm still getting alot more other crashes than with IE7. It's not just Flash Player 10 either because I'm getting random lockups in IE8 even on pages with no Flash applications. They need to work on improving the stability of the browser.
