Checking my system prior to installation......
Ok here's what I have.
Abit IT7 Max (I've already checked, it's all linux compatitble)
Abit 5600FX 256meg
I'll most likely be using Mandrake 9.1, are their any foreseeable problems?

Probably only the ones that would affect any system.
I.e., make sure PnP OS (in your BIOS) is off, and that "assign IRQ to VGA" is on. Make sure that you have your kernel sources, unless there's a Mandrake 9.1 precompiled interface available (I don't have any idea if there is or not). Also make sure you have a compiler (the same one that compiled Mandrake's kernel) installed and working, if there isn't a precompiled interface for your kernel.
And if you do have problems, post the error message(s).
