Doesn't nVNews already use captias (or whatever they're called) when someone signs-up for a new account?
Are you suggesting that one be placed before sending a PM? Probably a good idea, but would it work? |

We do use picture verification for the registration of new accounts. My advice for the meantime would be to not open pm's from people you're not familiar with, especially if you're at work. A little common sense goes a long way, and we'll be on the lookout for tools to help deal with spammers; but with a forum of this size its a very hard thing to manage.
