Wonder if some mods will come out for this game and make the handling more sim like? I'm hoping.

I also liked the way I got to play a decent amount with the trial/demo before buying it outright.

You get a real sense of speed sometimes. The stunt events can be a blast too -- I think I kept one 'combo' event going for about 5 minutes, and it was a total adrenaline rush from start to finish, because one slip and your combo is over! Online seems fun too -- you can drive around freely and try and break records, or just go smashing up your buddies online, then usually the person who's running the server can start races and all these other cool jump events.

The bikes kinda bugged me playing offline, but going online and just racing like crazy trying to beat the road race times or getting absurd air with jumps is great fun, and again, I kind of like the 'free roaming' aspect where you can get as involved as much or as little as you like: bikes for just cruising around, cars for races and other events.

Big thumbs up for me, but I think you really have to like the arcade/crazy nature of it -- certainly not one for sim fans!

Hi all, first time poster here came across your thread here with a "Burnout Paradise forum" Google search. Some good screenshots posted here.

I have a question for you guys, has anyone here been able to race the bikes online in a Ranked or nonRanked race, PC version? Freeroam hosts don't count.

I just got to 50% completed with the bike ( 10\19 daytime, 9\19 night time ) and Ranked and unRanked races are still lock and I still have a learner bike license at class L. Game has not upgraded me yet. Is this a bug?

Anybody have consoles version with the bikes? Does this sound right not getting my license upgraded yet?

With the cars I have a class C license and I have 15 wins now and at 10% completed. The Ranked and unRanked races online was unlock when I got 4%.

It didn't appeal to everyone. I for one uninstalled the snoozefest demo after 15 minutes of play. Too easy to win races IMO.

It gets harder as it goes you know... the first 15 minutes of any game are easy.

You fail.

I'm sorry but this game just didn't appeal to me. I felt it would still be boring even after it got harder.

You fail at making me like the game.

After some races it gets thougher and thougher. Don't worry you will end up with some good competition

The "Krieger 616 Arachno Sport" is freaking amazing... I don't want to use anything else.

If I get this game then can I use my dual-analog logitch controller???
Does it work like it should with it, or is it one of those xbox360 games?

This game supports 1, 2 or 3 monitors which is GREAT!!!

I only have 2 but it still looks cool.

If only GTAIV could do this.
