Been given a 2nd hand WOW game, 4CD version,Is it any use to me?

Is this just the same as the free trial dvd version?

Its used ,Will it work at all?

I understand WOW is subscription/online only.

Think you can download the entire client, with optional packages including the expansions via the account page.
So the medium for the client doesnt matter.

It is probably the same as the DVD trial, client is the same, trial account is different.

It's no use to you unless you have the person's account information. Once the key is registered to an account its permanently registered to it. The disc are useless then since you can download the entire client once you log into the account management on the website (thats how I get my client now when I wana reinstall the game).
