From the pic in the OP, BF2 looks awesome! I will be reading more on it and leaning towards getting it!

Anyone else think that BF 1943 looks a little cartoonish as if the art style from Heroes influenced them? BC2 looks much more realistic to me.

that trailer looks awesome! can't wait for BF1943. but whats this talk about 3 maps? surely they wouldnt even consider selling a game with only 3 maps .. as much fun as it looks i cant see spending the money on a game with only 3 maps. please let it only be a BAD rumor!

The 3 maps stem from the 3 campaigns in the game. Who knows if more then one map per campaign.... then again we're talking EA here. If this is a $15.00 download to hold us over till BFBC2 and they provide map tools then I'm ok with that. If they think they can charge us 25 for 3 maps no tools and no support... they can pond sands. We have CoD6 and DFX2 coming out as well.

WTF is this, 24 players, 3 maps?! They have a game like that, it's called Battlefield Heroes. Give me a REAL Battlefield with 64 players and a variety of maps!
