Newer drivers does not detect second display (DVI) connected with Geforce 7300GT
I reposted this thread because I got no response.
Is there an other possibility to post a bug to NVIDIA developers?
I am using a Geforce 7300GT connected with one VGA and one DVI device. Only the 96.43.xx driver is currently capable to detect the second connected device on DVI. With the 96.43.xx driver the non-antialised fonts looks very strange. I would like to use newer drivers, because this problem is fixed there. But with newer drivers, there I have the detection problem of the second monitor.
I am using: Ubuntu Intrepid Ibex
The log-file shows the detection problem:
(--) NVIDIA(1): Connected display device(s) on GeForce 7300 GT at PCI:1:0:0:
(--) NVIDIA(1): Iiyama PLE431 (CRT-0)
(--) NVIDIA(1): Iiyama PLE431 (CRT-0): 400.0 MHz maximum pixel clock
(EE) NVIDIA(1): Unable to find available Display Devices for screen 1.
