Default Edid problem after 195.36.03

Hi, after I installed the latest beta driver, my notebook didn't showed up anymore the bios screen and after short time there was a not uniform white screen.
With a secondary screen i was able to boot on windows and linux shell, so I checked the xorg log and I found this:
(WW) Feb 09 11:09:33 NVIDIA(GPU-0): The EDID read for display device DFP-0 is invalid: the
(WW) Feb 09 11:09:33 NVIDIA(GPU-0): checksum for EDID version 1 is invalid.
With a windows tool I was able to write the correct edid found on the bug report of a user of this forum (thanks weltall) with my same system (Acer Aspire 5920G).
Now my notebook works well, but can drivers corrupt the edid or is it just a coincidence?

I attached a bug report taken when the laptop screen was not working for further informations.
Thanks and sorry for my English.
