Hello,

I'm reopening this topic, because it is also my problem now.

I have an HP 5830w: wiki page

Each time I install a nvidia driver, when I reboot I get a black screen
with al little cursus pinking in the corner.

This is what I already tried to do:
1) Uninstall nvidiadriver, then install the latest one from nvidia.com from my Quadro FX 770M
-->didn't work(190.53-pkg1)

2) Found I nvidia side with all the driver, tried to install (195.36.03-pkg1) --> didn't work

3) I tried to use the driver mentioned in the post above, didn't work either.

Am I dong something wrong?

I'v added 3 nvidia output files for each from the tested driver to this post.

Thank you very much
