How is flash perfornace under Solaris?

Seeing woeful performance of full screen-flash under Linux... made me wonder if solaris has the same/better/worse since it was a different set of nvidia and flash drivers. I get 2-5 fps at best under Ubuntu.

How do you see FPS. Any way, I'm getting much more than 2-5 FPS, probably in the order of at least 30 FPS, I notice no jerking, only smooth video. I'm using Flash Player 10.

You get smooth full-screen flash (inside a browser) ? Even at hulu?

I don't know of any actual way to get FPS, I was just guessing.. full-screen under linux is VERY jerky at best, and usually worse than that at hulu (YouTube is ok)

Just wondering if I should try a different OS.

OK, never seen hulu, but googled it and looked at a clip

This clip displayed smooth, no evident loss of frames.

I also have to say, I'm using Solaris SXCE nv104 on my laptop. My laptop has Nvidia Quadro FX1600M graphics card with the Nvidia 177.82 driver.

I also right clicked in the video image and configured settings for hardware acceleration, and gave permission for them to store 10 meg or more (I believe this is buffering).

As for me, updating to Flash 10 dramatically increased performance, I'm at 101 build of ONNV. With flash 10 sound is still laggy, but lags significally decreased.
