Hi,
I'm using the 256.35 driver with my GeForce 9400 GT on my FreeBSD 8.1-RC1 amd64 and when I start X I can't access my tty anymore (my display will just close and stay black until I go back to my working x (using ctrl + alt +F9) If i close X it doesn't work either and if I don't start it I can see my tty correctly I was wondering if it was a known bug or if there was any work around or what is wrong Thank you very much Hinata |

I'm getting this problem in NVIDIA-FreeBSD-x86_64-256.53
I upgraded directly from a much older (195.xx) version, so I'm not sure if this is a regression from 256.52 or not. I'll try installing that version in a bit and see if it helps. EDIT: I just installed 256.52 and have the same issue. Switching to another VT after X is started results in a blank screen and the monitors going into powersave.
