I dare say it may have something to do with where you live and what season it is at the moment. My 280 is constantly idling between 65c and 70c lately, because it's just coming out of summer.

Yeah, your cable management might have something to do with it. Try cleaning it up a bit.

First things first. Here's a pic of inside of my HAF:

The idea is to get every possible cable behind the motherboard tray and use the closest cutout on the tray to connect them. Then you take up any slack in the cable(s), from the rear of the tray, and fasten that to the back of the tray, using small cable ties. Any cables that cannot routed behind the tray should be tucked as close to the tray as you possible. That way you'll end up with a clean path for the fans to do their work.

Just take your time and you'll do fine.

After you post the photos I'll give you a tip to reduce the fan(s) noise and make them more efficient but before I do that I need to know what motherboard are you using?

Then after you've done that I'll show you a neat trick on how to keep your GPU temps at a minimum.

FYI, the reason for not giving you all the tips at the same is I want you to monitor your CPU and GPU temps, as you do the changes.

Use your EVGA precision tool to monitor the GPU temps and I highly recommend the latest version of RealTemp for monitoring your CPU temps.

Could you please add your system specs to your sig, like I have.

I recently got that case and absolutely love it, big clean and the cooling is tops. couldent get a better one but as others said fix the damn cables haha.

you cant have it that way as you know every cable should go by the back plate so take your time it worth it man

@Dodger1, that more like it and the way one should have it. BTW got the same PSU as you only the 1000W. best PSU manufacturer Corsair!
